Hi, I downloaded the game and clean tools from this link : https://www.emuline.org/topic/3489-reposted-maimai-finale-dx-dx-splash-universe-festival-sega-ringedge/?do=findComment&comment=152949
then I downloaded the release of https://gitea.tendokyu.moe/beerpsi/artemis-portable and updated it so that I'm running the latest version of the dev branch of artemis, and ran the importer. Also I checked my localnet IP and filled it out in the segatools.
However when I boot the game, I get a title server BAD(all other items in network check are GOOD) and I am not able to use an aime to play it.
The following pic is the output from the artemis terminal:

I'm wondering whether this is an issue with artemis or my game, since I tried several 'online aqua' servers and none of them work either. (Maybe this version was too old? I dunno)

I believe this is an issue with your data, since that request looks encrypted, and artemis doesn't support running maidx with server encryption enabled at this time.

Um, I'm not particularly familiar with this, would you be so kind to teach me how to check whether the data is not decrypted, or maybe how to disable server encryption? ( Is this an issue with the HDD itself, or is it with the configuration? )

I rummaged through the config_xxx.json files and I don't seem to find anything related to encryption, and I tried turning allnet_auth or allnet_accounting to false, neither of which worked.

You'll need to use DNSpy to edit Assembly-CSharp.dll in Sinmai_Data/Managed and disable it that way. I unfortunately don't know enough about that game to be much help beyond that, apologies.

Thank you for your explanation! Now I can see this is an issue with the HDD itself, not artemis. Since this isn't supported by Artemis, maybe we should close this issue?
