I download the new artemis-develop ok with SDEZ1.40. I found it can't load the previous data of last develop version. And everytime I enter the 1.40, it recognize the same aime ID as a new one. After I setup MariaDB, DBeaver and Git mentined in the new guide. There was no database called aime anymore. So could you please help me getting data of last develop version used for SDEZ 1.35 to this version for 1.40?

What do you mean the database doesn't exist anymore?

If you downloaded artemis-develop again, this does not wipe your database UNLESS you reinstalled MySQL/MariaDB.

This is why a backup of the database is highly recommended before doing any kind of upgrade or update.

Ok I got it, I installed mariadb for the first time, maybe that's why? So the data of former version should been available without the new installation?

yes that is correct, usually when you want to upgrade from an older branch, you would reuse the same MariaDB/MySQL install and just edit the new core.yaml so your sql information stays the same as you had previously

the moment a new install of SQL is done, you usually lose all the data that was in there

I thought mariadb was something based on MySQL. So how to transfer or backup data?
